Our Philosophy
- We believe in mastering three essentials to become an Ace: 1) Resiliency. Preparing the body to withstand the demands of a long season.
-
- 2) Efficiency. Ensuring every movement and repetition serves a purpose.
- 3) Velocity. The harmony of power, mechanics, and intent working together.

Resiliency
Every body type can play baseball. Tall. Short. Fat. Skinny. Diabetic. Even people with one arm have played in the Major Leagues.
Staying healthy is the only characteristic the separates the best from the rest. There are numerous strains that occur in a season. Proper training is an essential key to staying healthy.
If done correctly, the body can achieve enormous amounts of strength, power, stability, and range of motion. The ingredients of an Ace.
You simply cannot play if you are injured. The best ability is availability.
Another bonus of resiliency is the stronger your body becomes and the more range of motion you gain the harder you will throw.

Efficiency
Throwing a baseball is not a natural motion, but there are a few basic qualities that elite pitchers share to throw in the upper 90s.These traits are:
Consistency
Balance
Power
Drift
Hinge
Hip Shoulder SeparationLead Leg Block
Rotational Transfer of Energy
All of these qualities look very similar on camera, but can be described in hundreds of ways. Efficiency allows for pitchers to throw faster, with more accuracy, more often. Also, as efficiency increases, so will control. This quality, throwing strikes, is the number one trait that the next level looks for.
Our purpose is to help you understand the qualities above so together we can form a philosophy that works best for you.

Velocity
There's a very important reason why velocity is our third priority.
The hardest thing to witness in this game is the power pitcher that cannot stay healthy. The stud that has all the tools but their body is torn to shreds from lack of resiliency. Or the flamethrower that can't hit the strike-zone. Although they might be resilient, their body is out of sync from of an inefficient motion.
The Ace's Arsenal is about laying the foundation for success. With resiliency and efficiency prioritized, velocity comes with time. With proper training, diet, and a regimented schedule, we believe any amateur player can gain 3mph.
Velocity increases margin for error. The harder you throw the more in-zone swing and misses you we will have. This is why the MLB has used this metric as the determining factor to run their farm systems for the past decade. The harder you throw the better your other pitches become without changing them. Velocity is very important at the highest level, but you can never get there without becoming resilient and efficient enough to play 162 game season.
